AquaterreX Revolutionizes Water Exploration in Union County, New Mexico Farm
Innovative Technology Leads to Significant Water Discovery, Addressing Water Scarcity Challenges
St. Petersburg, FL,, May 9, 2024 – AquaterreX, a global leader in advanced water exploration technology, has achieved a groundbreaking success in locating previously undetected water sources for a farm in Union County, New Mexico. The farm, spanning 2,160 acres and facing water scarcity challenges common in the region, turned to AquaterreX for innovative solutions.
“The advanced technology AquaterreX brought to our project was impressive. The combination of data, hardware, and software helped them pinpoint exactly where to drill and informed us of estimated yields. As it turned out, we got even more water than we expected.” – Farm Owner
AquaterreX’s CEO, James D’Arezzo, commented on the achievement, stating, “Our mission at AquaterreX is to revolutionize water exploration and provide sustainable solutions for water-scarce regions. This success in Union County showcases the power of our technology in addressing critical water challenges.”
AquaterreX employed a comprehensive approach, utilizing multicomponent geospatial analysis of their land including satellite imagery, enhanced gravimetric, radiometric, and magnetic analyses alongside geologic, hydrologic, and additional data sets. Their advanced Phase I analysis, powered by artificial intelligence, accurately assessed the land for both shallow and Deep Seated Water, providing valuable insights into potential water sources.
Phase II involved on-location surveys conducted by a team of experts, including PhD-level hydrogeologists and certified geologist-hydrogeologists, using patented instruments and advanced software. This phase yielded precise GPS coordinates for well bore sites, depth to water strata, estimated yields, and confirmation of non-saline water.
The result was the identification of two promising well bore locations, with the chosen site delivering an impressive yield of 1,325 gallons per minute at a depth of 654 feet. This abundance of water not only meets the farm’s immediate irrigation needs but also allows for strategic conservation measures, including water storage and controlled extraction. The full case study is available here.
AquaterreX’s success in Union County highlights the potential of advanced groundwater exploration technologies to address water scarcity challenges in drought-prone regions. Their commitment to conservation and sustainable water management reinforces their position as pioneers in the field.
